Chelsea Boardman and M. Benjamin “Benji” McDonald were wed Nov. 1, 2008, at The Music Mill in Indianapolis.
Chelsea graduated from LaPorte High School in 2003 and from Indiana University with a degree in
therapeutic recreation in 2007. She is a special education instructional assistant at Snack Corners Elementary School in Indianapolis.
Benji graduated from Clarksville, IN, High School in 2002 and from Indiana University in 2007 with a degree in telecommunications. He is employed at Indianapolis Motor Speedway Productions (IMSP) as a motion graphics animator/compositor.
Chelsea’s parents are Chris and Cindi Boardman of LaPorte. Benji’s parents are Shawn and Lisa McDonald of Clarksville.
The officiant at the ceremony was Rev. John L Newton. Matrons of honor were Chelsea’s sister, Lindsey (Boardman) Cooper of Indianapolis, and her friend Kate (Knickrehm) Simcoe of Pendleton, IN. Bridesmaids were Chelsea’s cousins Brittany Boardman and Addie Boardman, both of LaPorte, and friend Katie Dressler Neidlinger of Indianapolis. Flower girls were Benji’s sister, Ruthie McDonald of Clarksville, and Chelsea’s cousins, Lily and Lucy Alberts of Chesterton.
Best man was Benji’s friend Sam York of Chicago. Groomsmen were Benji’s friends Sean Oehman, Ian Brock and Steve Yates, all of Clarksville; Chelsea’s brother-in-law Andrew Cooper of Indianapolis; and Chelsea’s brother Adam Boardman of Bloomington, IN. Ringbearer was Chelsea’s cousin, Grady Boardman of LaPorte.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Powell Music/Brass Quintet of Indianapolis, and Lindsey Cooper.
Chelsea and Benji live in Indianapolis.
