Mr. and Mrs. Kirk Kimble are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Amy Kimble, to David Fix, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Fix of LaPorte, IN.

   Amy is the granddaughter of Chet and Dorothy Kimble, Ellinwood, KS, and Pete and Julia Castaneda, Lewis, KS, and the great-granddaughter of Mrs. Basilia Viegra, Larned, KS.

   Amy is a graduate of Cornerstone Christian Academy and is employed at the office of Drs. Fisher, Yarrow and Fleming.

   David is the grandson of John and Milly Fix, Calhan, CO, and Mrs. Iris Page of Francesville, IN.

   David is a 2002 graduate of LaPorte High School and a graduate of Purdue North Central, Westville, IN. David is employed at Electronic Sensors Inc.

   The couple’s wedding ceremony will be March 28, 2009, at 2 p.m. LaPorte time at Westside Church of the Nazarene, Wichita, KS. There will be a wedding reception at LaPorte Vineyard Community Church on April 25, 2009, from 1:30-3:30 p.m. LaPorte time.

   The couple will reside in Wichita, KS.
