Garry Glendel Woodham, 61, of Mill Creek, IN, died at 10:40 p.m. Thursday, March 26, 2009, at LaPorte Hospital.
He was born March 2, 1948, in Banner, AR, to Eben Woodham and Wanda (Lawson) Woodham Battles.
Mr. Woodham owned and operated Woodham Trucking Inc. in Mill Creek. Garry enjoyed hunting, fishing, gun trading and spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed.
On April 29, 1983, in Hillsdale, MI, he married Eva K. (Morse) Woodham, who survives.
Also surviving are his mother, Wanda Battles of Gobler, MO; his father, Eben Woodham of New Port, AR; one sister, Loretta (Bobby) Tomlinson of Kennett, MO; two sons, Scott (Wendy) Woodham of LaPorte and Rod (Sarah) Woodham of LaPorte; three daughters, Tami (Bob) Mehus of Bloomington, MN, and Angela (Jason) Mace and Carrie (Jon) Koehn, both of LaPorte; and 12 grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Doss and Zettie Lawson.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2009, at Lakeview Funeral Home and Crematory, LaPorte, with Pastor Paul Bagley officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 30, and from 10 a.m. until the service on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery, LaPorte.
