Charlie and Amanda Young proudly show off new family member Sara Elizabeth.
Sara Elizabeth Young was born to Charlie and Amanda Young of Morris, IL, on Thursday, March 26, 2009, at 9:03 p.m. at LaPorte Hospital. She weighed 7 pounds, 5.9 ounces, and was 20 inches long.
Grandma Cindy and Aunt Elizabeth McCain welcome Sara to the family.
Sara’s maternal grandparents are Cindy and James McCain of Channahon, IL, and Robert “Beaker” Cummings of LaPorte. Her fraternal grandparents are Debra Manis of LaPorte and Curtis Young of Baltimore, MD.
Her maternal great-grandparents are Gene and Ada Lee of LaPorte and Marjorie and the late Lloyd Cummings of LaPorte. Her fraternal great-grandparents are Dorothy and James Close of Connecticut.

Also welcoming Sara are her aunts and namesakes, Sara Young of Arlington, VA, and 10-year-old Elizabeth McCain of Channahon, as well as her aunt Amanda Young of Altamonte Springs, FL, and her uncle and his girlfriend, Luke Stigler and Amy Skelton of South Bend, IN.
Sara’s four-legged older “brother” is Spenser Young, a chihuahua/dachsund mix.

Thank you for publishing the birth of my little granddaughter…what a glorious moment it was. We are all so very proud of Amanda, Charlie and Sara. What a beautiful family they are! We LOVE YOU!!!

I noticed this birth announcement on-line.
My maiden name is Sara Elizabeth Young.
I thought this was really cool too, but I’m 40!
