Mrs. Eva J. Fredrickson, 95, of LaPorte, died Friday, June 19, 2009, at Beverly Living Center-Fountainview Terrace, LaPorte.
She was born Nov. 15, 1913, in Evergreen Park, IL, the daughter of Ralph Root and Hazel G. (Miller) Root.
In December 1937 in LaPorte, she married Robert Ringo, who preceded her in death on March 17, 1969. On July 15, 1977, in Evergreen Park, IL, she married Lee Fredrickson, who preceded her in death on July 19, 2004.
Her parents also preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughter, Nancy (Donald) Duesdieker of Ottawa, IL; son, Robert (Jeanne) Ringo of Northglenn, CO; sister, Genevieve Schultz of Tinley Park, IL; half-brother, Roy Hall of Cedar Rapids, IA; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
A private family burial will be held at a later date. Haverstock Funeral Home, LaPorte, is handling arrangements.
