La Lumiere School announces its honor roll for the first marking period of the 2009-10 school year. One hundred and twelve students of a total student body of 190 reached a status of excellence: 20 Summa Cum Laude, 48 Magna Cum Laude, and 44 Cum Laude. Representation from the classes include: 35 freshmen, 23 sophomores, 25 juniors and 29 seniors.
The La Lumiere honor roll is based on a 4.0 scale. Cum Laude students are those with a cumulative un-weighted grade point average of 3.0 or higher with no grade lower than a C. Magna Cum Laude students are those with an un-weighted 3.5 grade point average or higher and no grade lower than a C. Summa Cum Laude students are those with a cumulative, un-weighted grade point of 4.0 or higher.
