Mr. James Earl Anez, 64, of LaPorte, died Sunday, Nov. 29, 2009, at LaPorte Hospital.
He was born Dec. 26, 1944, in Chicago, the son of Donald and Mary (Jablonsky) Anez.
James worked for Whirlpool Corp. for 33 years, retiring in 2002.
On Feb. 14, 1981, in LaPorte, he married Mary F. Schell, who survives.
He is also survived by his daughter, Gail (Krys) Beal of Kingsbury, IN; stepdaughter, JoAnn (Doug) Newbanks of Michigan City, IN; three grandsons, Tyler J. Schell, Elijah Beal and Luke Beal; one brother, Donald Anez of Michigan; one sister, Mary Robbins of LaPorte; and one half-sister, Donna Bursaw of Minnesota.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Haverstock Funeral Home, LaPorte, is handling arrangements.
