On Nov. 12 we lost our dear son, Kirk Craft. Since that time we have experienced a tremendous outpouring of love and support. So many people, of all ages, have come forward expressing their love and affection for Kirk. You have provided us with stories reminding us that he was a joy to know, he had a tender heart, he was a determined musician, he was a good student at Ivy Tech, and he was a gentle soul. We want to thank all of you for these stories, the times you shared with our son, and the love and support you gave him when he was here. And now, you have extended that love and support to us.

We sincerely thank our personal friends who continue to embrace us with affection and kindness in their prayers, thoughts, words and deeds. We especially thank Pastor Jay Loucks, Ken and Heidi Grace, and the Cutlers for working with us to celebrate Kirk’s life and honor God in the service we shared with you on Tuesday, Nov. 17. We also offer thanks to Pastor Jeff Hines for his outreach to Kirk on Sunday, Nov. 8, and, perhaps unknowingly, over the past few years.

No words can express the loss, grief and sadness we feel about Kirk’s passing but we are assuredly comforted by your thoughts, prayers and hope for us. For all of that, WE THANK YOU ALL. And now we ask for you, too, to feel reassured in the tender warmth of God’s loving arms. May His peace that surpasses all understanding be with you now and remain with you always.
