Mrs. Patricia J. Dunifon, 83, of LaPorte, died at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2009, at her residence.

   She was born May 12, 1926, in Indianapolis to Carl and Susie (Andreas) Clover.

   Mrs. Dunifon worked as a pharmacist assistant. She enjoyed her grandchildren.

   On May 17, 1954, she married Richard D. Dunifon, who preceded her in death on Feb. 20, 1996.

   She leaves behind two sons, Jeffery (Dawn) Dunifon and Timothy (Nicole) Dunifon, both of LaPorte; six grandchildren, Michelle Shirk and Melissa, Cody, Taylor, Hunter and Drew Dunifon; one brother, Lewis Clover of Long Beach, CA; and several nieces and nephews.

   She was preceded in death by her parents.

   There will be no visitation or service. Essling Funeral Home, LaPorte, is handling arrangements.
