   The LaPorte Slicers boys basketball team downed cross-county rival Michigan City, 74-57, in a physical and fast-paced game on Tuesday, Dec. 22. LaPorte moves to 6 and 2 on the season.

   High scorers in the game were: LaPorte — Rich Leslie, 22 points; Pat Spence, 17, including four 3-pointers; and Dustin DeMuth, 17. Michigan City: Taylor Lavery, 15, including five 3-pointers; Alajowon Edwards, 10; and Shereff Knight, 9. Here are some scenes from the game.
