South Central took top honors in its own Mid Winter Classic on Wednesday night, Dec. 30, in Union Mills. In the championship game, the Satellites defeated Westville, 69-47. South Central’s Jake Kitchell was named tournament MVP for the second year in a row. This was the Satellites’ third straight classic championship.
In the consolation game, LaCrosse beat Washington Township, 58-55.
Players who made the all-tourney team included Kitchell, South Central’s Eric Baum, Westville’s Jesse Mills, and LaCrosse’s Reilly Wilson and Ryan Pahl.
