Mr. Robert M. Ritchie, 36, of LaPorte, died Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2009, at his home.
He was born Sept. 26, 1973, in LaPorte, the son of William and Nancy (Stacy) Ritchie.
Robert was a member of the LaPorte Horse Shoe League. He enjoyed being outdoors, playing pool and spending time listening to his music.
He is survived by his mother, of LaPorte; loving companion, Kathy Wiltfong of LaPorte; one sister, Lena Ritchie of LaPorte; one brother, William Ritchie of LaPorte; and two special cousins, Faith Stacy and Steven Stacy.
Robert was preceded in death by his father.
The family will receive friends at Haverstock Funeral Home, LaPorte, on Sunday, Jan. 3, 2010, from 2 to 4 p.m. Services will be held at the funeral home on Sunday at 4 p.m. with Mr. Farley Mullins officiating. Cremation will take place.
