Many people received new electronic gifts for Christmas — computers, TVs, video games, phones, and more. As a result, many families have old electronic items to dispose of.
Don’t put them out with the garbage!
Dispose of them properly by taking them to the LaPorte County Solid Waste District electronics recycling drop-off site at the LaPorte County Highway Barns, 1805 W. 5th St.
Hours are 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday, except holidays.
Make sure your old electronic items are recycled properly by taking them to the drop-off bin at the highway barns.
