La Lumiere School announces its honor roll for the second marking period of the 2009-2010 school year. 102 students of a total student body of 190 reached a status of excellence: 19 Summa Cum Laude, 40 Magna Cum Laude, and 43 Cum Laude. Representation from the classes include: 24 freshmen, 25 sophomores, 28 juniors and 25 seniors.
The La Lumiere honor roll is based on a 4.0 scale. Cum Laude students are those with a cumulative un-weighted grade point average of 3.0 or higher with no grade lower than a C. Magna Cum Laude students are those with an un-weighted 3.5 grade point average or higher and no grade lower than a C. Summa Cum Laude students are those with a cumulative, unweighted grade point of 4.0 or higher.
