1. Slicer girls and boys swimmers triumph over Mishawaka Marian

      The La Porte Slicer boys and girls swimmers won their third swim meet in a row Thursday night, Jan. 21, at the Slicer Natatorium. The Slicer girls’ score was 117-59 and the Slicer boys’ score was 127-58.

      Those who placed first in their events were:

      Carly Jackson

      Payton Povlok

      Emily Metheny

      Anne Loetz

      Chris Klimczak

      Aaron Dobben

      Josh Batten

      Mike Kendall

      Audie Butcher

      Zach Haller

      LaPorte also took first in the boys and girls medley relay, 200 freestyle relay and 400 freestyle relay.

      The Slicers will next participate in the Penn Swim Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 23.
