Patricia Dolohery Thate, 78, of LaPorte and formerly of Hanna, IN, died Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2010, at LaPorte Hospital.

   She was born March 19, 1931, in Plymouth, IN, the daughter of Alfred and Gertrude (Poor) Dolohery.

   Patricia worked at Trigg Buick & Pontiac, and retired from the LaPorte Water Department after working there over 20 years.

   On July 10, 1965, in LaPorte, she married Clifford Carl Thate, who preceded her in death on May 22, 2001.

   Her parents and her sister, Margaret Hamilton, also preceded her in death.

   Surviving are her sons, Thomas Thate of Hanna and Steven (Connie) Thate of LaPorte; daughter, Carol (John) Teshima of Michigan City, IN; five grandchildren; several great-grandchilden; sisters, Mary Ruth Laymon of LaPorte, Sharon (Wesley) Conley of LaPorte and Joan (William) Kammler of Terre Haute, IN; brother, Ted (Judith) Dolohery of LaPorte; and several nieces and nephews.

   A funeral service will take place Saturday, Jan. 30, at 11 a.m. at Cutler Funeral Home, LaPorte, with Rev. Dan McDonald officiating. Friends will be received on Friday, Jan. 29, from 4 to 7 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the service. Interment will follow the service in Hanna Cemetery.
