New Prairie's 400 free relay team of Erin Suttor, Caitlin Lovan, Jessica McFarland and Sarah Thompson broke the school record with a time of 3:56.87.

The New Prairie girls swim team broke three school records during the Sectional at Mishawaka High School on Saturday, Feb. 6. And one Cougar diver will be advancing to the regional.
Overall the Cougars placed sixth in the 10-team event.
Jessica McFarland broke the school record in the 100 fly with a time of 1:05.27, placing fifth at the sectional.
The 200 free relay team of Erin Suttor, Lindsay Lowman, Caitlin Lovan and Sarah Thompson broke the school record in that category with a time of 1:47.68, placing eighth.
And the 400 free relay team of Erin Suttor, Caitlin Lovan, Jessica McFarland and Sarah Thompson broke the school record in that category with a time of 3:56.87, tying for fourth place.
Cougar diver Kymra Keigley also had a great day, placing second at the sectional. She advances to the regionals at South Bend Riley on Tuesday night, starting at 5 p.m. central time. Kymra is seeded seventh going into the regional.
Final team scores at the sectional were: Penn 350, Bremen 241, St. Joe 222, South Bend Adams 131, Mishawaka 130, New Prairie 89, South Bend Riley 78, South Bend Washington 76, Mishawaka Marian 35, and South Bend Clay 25.
