Kymra Keigley represented a proud New Prairie High School at the Swimming and Diving State Meet in Indianapolis the weekend of Feb. 13.

Keigley finished 30th at state, meaning she did not make it beyond the first cut. “We are very proud of her accomplishments and to her advantage (as a junior), she gained the experience and will be back next year,” said New Prairie girls swim Assistant Coach Kathy Nova. “There were 15 seniors in the field of 32, so she will be ready for the competition next year.”

A crowd of New Prairie students and fans gathered at New Prairie to give Keigley a spirited sendoff on Friday morning, Feb. 12.
