Betty Ann Bealor, 69, of LaPorte, died Friday, Feb. 26, 2010, at LaPorte Hospital.
She was born May 19, 1940, in LaPorte County, the daughter of Robert F. and Hildred G. (Kingsborough) Bealor.
Betty worked as an operating room technician for LaPorte Hospital; she also worked at Gerber’s in Three Oaks as a seamstress and at Heartland in Rolling Prairie as a machine operator. She was a member of Jehovah’s Witness of Michigan City, IN. Betty enjoyed gardening, sewing and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her two sisters, Hilda M. (Ken) Freyer and Myrtle E. Diedrich, both of LaPorte; two brothers, Richard Dean Bealor of LaPorte and John B. (Sharon) Bealor of Rolling Prairie, IN; and 11 nieces and nephews.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Donald and Robert William Bealor.
Services will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, LaPorte, on Saturday, March 6, at 11 a.m. with Elder Richard Fritz officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the service. Immediately following the service, burial of ashes will take place in Salem Cemetery, LaPorte.
