Ricky J. Brown, 35, of LaPorte, died in an automobile accident Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2010, in South Bend, IN.
He was born Jan. 6, 1975, in LaPorte to Dorothy Conley.
Mr. Brown worked in sales and construction most of his life. He will be dearly missed.
On Dec. 16, 2000, in LaPorte, he married Lisa Mrkva, who survives.
Also surviving are his mother, Dorothy Conley of Tennessee; two daughters, Janna Brown and Jessica Boone, both of LaPorte; one son, Joshua Brown of LaPorte; one sister, Deloris (Ron) Davis of LaPorte; and his grandmother, Dorothy Conley of LaPorte.
Preceding him in death were his grandfather, John Conley, and one brother, John Stronczek.
A funeral service celebrating his life will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 9, at Lakeview Funeral Home and Crematory, LaPorte, with Pastor David Adams officiating. Visitation and viewing will be Monday, March 8, from 4 to 6 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the service. Burial will be in Patton Cemetery, LaPorte.
