Betty J. Pittman, 74, of LaPorte, died Friday, March 12, 2010, in her home surounded by her loving family.
She was born Wednesday, July 31, 1935, in Pulaski, TN, daughter of Wilson and Irene (Beddingfield) Sprouse.
Mrs. Pittman had worked for Kingsley Furniture in LaPorte.
Surviving are her sons, Garry Robison, Barry Pittman and Rick (Cammy) Pittman, all of LaPorte; daughters, Sherry (Mike) Spencer, Vickie (James) Reeder and Diane (Mike) Phillips, all of LaPorte; 11 grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Marie Sweeney; and one brother, James Herbert (Ruth) Sprouse.
Services will be held at Bennett-May and Giles County Funeral Home, Pulaski, TN, at noon on Wednesday, March 17, with Pastor Randy Sprouse officiating. Visitation is from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesday. Interment will follow in Giles Memorial Gardens, Pulaski.
