Boss Lion Dave Ebert offered prayer and thought for the day. Ralph E. Howes led “God Bless America” and the Pledge of Allegiance.
Ken Schnable introduced Gerrie Jones, executive director of Stepping Stone Shelter, who told about the support it gives to abused women and their children in LaPorte County.
Sandra Provan read the minutes of the March 8 board meeting. Tim Welty asked if dates had been set for Candy Days; Ebert said not yet. Tail twister brought in $8.25 and 50/50, $8.
The next meeting is March 29 at 6:30 p.m. at Best Western Inn, when District Gov. Dennis Brown will talk about Lionism to members, spouses and potential members. To attend this event, please call Provan at 362-5618.
