His passion for sports in general was undeniable. We were all fortunate enough to see how his face lit up when his family would stop to visit but I think he became even more alive as his grandchildren began to arrive. Tractor rides with the grand kids quickly became tradition. Papa's tractor was no longer just for cutting his grass it became a vehicle for taking joy rides to wherever he decided to go. Sometimes ending up much further than any of us thought (like a few miles away to visit with his brother while sharing a lollipop with Kayden).
