Seven Valparaiso University students from LaPorte, were named to the VU Dean’s List during the fall semester in honor of their academic accomplishments.

   To be eligible for the Dean’s List, students must achieve at least a 3.50 grade point average on a 4.0 scale and be enrolled full time.

   LaPorteans named to the list:

   — Amanda Graber, a sophomore creative writing major, is the daughter of John and Laura Graber of LaPorte. Graber is a graduate of Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School.

   — Adelle Haneline, a junior classics major, is the daughter of Daniel and Jae Haneline of LaPorte.

   — Alexander Keim, a senior music education major, is the son of Jeffery Keim and Lorinne Goodson of LaPorte.

   — Kristen Menke, a freshman English and secondary education double major, is the daughter of Mark and Laura Menke of LaPorte.

   — Stephanie Miller, a freshman nursing major, is the daughter of Maria Baker of LaPorte.

   — Richard Pinkepank, a freshman meteorology major, is the son of Norman and Linda Pinkepank of LaPorte.

   — Samuel Schaub, a senior physics and chemistry double major, is the son of Steven and Mary Schaub of LaPorte.

   — Kyle Kling, a sophomore computer science major.

   Valparaiso University is a comprehensive university with a Lutheran heritage that enrolls nearly 4,000 students on its campus 55 miles southeast of Chicago.
