LaPorte Savings Bank was awarded a MAXI Award at the Indiana Bankers Association Mega Conference on May 26, 2010, in downtown Indianapolis. MAXI Awards are presented annually to IBA-member institutions to recognize bank marketing excellence in Indiana. LaPorte Savings Bank won the in the category of Direct Mail for its 2009 Couchloans.com campaign.
Accepting the award on behalf of the bank were Stephanie Stout, Marketing Representative, and Debra Varnak, SVP, Marketing and Human Resources for LaPorte Savings Bank.
The objective of the Couchloans.com campaign was to creatively increase awareness and usage of LaPorte Savings Bank’s Online Mortgage Center via the Couchloans.com URL. The direct-mail component contributed greatly to the overall success of the campaign.
