1. LaPorte man charged with dealing cocaine

      A LaPorte man has been arrested for allegedly dealing cocaine, the LaPorte County Sheriff’s Office Metro Operations Unit announced on Tuesday, July 20, 2010.

      William R. Flatt, 49, also known as “Wolie,” was located at a residence in the 400 block of Jefferson Avenue and taken into custody without incident, a press release stated. He was being held in the LaPorte County Jail on a warrant for two counts of dealing in cocaine, Class B felonies.

      Flatt’s residence is at 410 Lincolnway. He was scheduled to make his initial appearance in LaPorte Circuit Court on Friday, July 23.
