“LaPorte County police agencies continue to team together to combat drug activity,” said Sheriff Mike Mollenhauer. “In this case the LaPorte Police Department and the sheriff’s office shared intelligence concerning a rapidly evolving situation and effected an arrest and seized a large amount of drugs that were destined for sale in LaPorte County. Those that choose to sell drugs in LaPorte County should be taking notice that they will be sought out and targeted.”
The La Porte County Metro Operations Unit is comprised of investigators from the LaPorte County Sheriff’s Office and LaPorte Police Department.
