Do you ever feel alone? Do you feel like you are the only one in the world who feels the way you feel? Or
perhaps you feel heavy, out of shape, miserable AND alone.
I know sometimes the world may seem too big, and it’s easy to feel swallowed up by the busy-ness of it all.
What we all must remember is that we are not alone and there is always help. Someone is ready and willing to help pull you out of that rut. But the first step is all yours. You must take the first step to regain your health and wellness. You need to decide that you are ready! That is the hardest step.
There is strength in numbers and power in unity! Your family, your friends and many fitness enthusiasts are ready and willing to take baby steps with you along the way. When you do get started, you’ll wonder why you waited so long! I’ve heard this personally at my club.
Becoming healthier does not mean you have to change everything you do. Start by making a couple of simple, small changes:
— Eat a healthier breakfast.
— Get up a little early to get the morning walk/jog in.
— Brown-bag lunch and skip eating out.
One small change can lead to another, which can lead to a habit in no time!
So what are you waiting for? Call a friend. Find a website that you can pull support from. (SparkPeople.com is a great site!) Visit your local gyms. You will be amazed at how quickly you make friends. You are not alone!
