1. Travolta, The Boss and more afloat on Venetian Night

   

   "Rocky Wirtz" holds the Stanley Cup aloft behind the "Ice Girls" on this boat blasting the Blackhawks' theme music.

      “Your Favorite Song” was the theme of Venetian Night on Saturday, Aug. 7, 2010, on Pine Lake, and various eras were well represented. The fourth annual event was sponsored by the LaPorte Area Lake Association, the LaPorte Yacht Club and Centier Bank, and featured the Elwood Splinters Blues Band.

   

   Disco ball and all, there was plenty of Saturday Night Fever on this craft.

   

   "Puff the Magic Dragon" lays a smokescreen.

   

   The Boss inspired these boaters.

   

   A patriotic theme.

   

   Note the pooch nose on the face of the front passenger.
