Mr. Raymond Wheatbrook, 69, of Rolling Prairie, IN, died Friday, Aug. 27, 2010, at LaPorte Hospital.
He was born April 27, 1941, in LaPorte, the son of Wilbur and Ruth (Luther) Wheatbrook.
Raymond worked as a truck driver for 31 years for Landstar Inway of Valparaiso, IN. He had worked for NAPA of LaPorte for the last three years. He loved nature, gardening and animals.
On Dec. 31, 1990, he married Linda Bowering Wheatbrook, who survives.
He is also survived by his daughter, Patricia (Juan) DeLeon of South Bend, IN; stepdaughter, Kelly (Mark) Lesiuk of South Bend; three grandchildren, John DeLeon, Tatum DeLeon and Tess Lesiuk; great-grandson, Isayah DeLeon; and his beloved dog, Baby.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Mary Wheatbrook; and a brother, Robert Wheatbrook.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, LaPorte.
