Slater Koehn

   Katlyn G. Koehn and Brett D. Slater wed in LaPorte on Oct. 9, 2010, at Red Mill County Park.

   Katlyn is the daughter of Thomas and Cathy Koehn of LaPorte. She graduated from LaPorte High School in 2005 and works as a finance manager at the Harley-Davidson Shop of Michigan City.

   Brett is the son of Dan and Kathy Slater of LaPorte and Kristi and John Pritz of Goshen. He graduated from LaPorte High School in 1996 and is self-employed at his business, Power Wash Plus.

   Katlyn’s sister, Kelsey Koehn, served as maid of honor and Erin Slater, sister of the groom, served as bridesmaid. Jason Wood and Brandon Feasel, both longtime friends of the groom, served as groomsmen. Friend of the couple, David Bruno, prepared a special speech and brother of the groom, Corbin Slater, served as usher.

   Following the ceremony, a dinner and dancing reception was held at The Allure in LaPorte. The couple enjoyed a honeymoon in St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands, and are now home in LaPorte.

   Brett and Katlyn would like to thank their parents and grandparents for all of their love and support.
