James Alan Johnston was born March 31, 2011, at 3:53 p.m. at IU Health LaPorte Hospital to proud parents Breyanna Stratton and Troy Johnston. James weighed 8 pounds, 4 ounces, and was 21 ¾ inches long.
James joins his proud sister, Tilly, 5, and his proud brother, Taidyn, 4. As well as his big sister in Heaven, Emily, who would turn 7 in September.
James was named after his great-grandpa Jimmy, who passed away just two hours after James’ parents found out they were expecting a child.
James was the first baby delivered in the new maternity unit at LaPorte Hospital.
