Dave Lowery, a 1972 LaPorte High School alum, melded scenes of his hometown with a poignant James Taylor song to create a touching retrospective of LaPorte.
“I took the pictures originally to send to family and friends who have moved away from LaPorte,” Dave told WNLP. “I wanted them to see the changes. After I heard the song I thought I would put together the video.
“I think my hope is that people who see it will think what I have always thought: LaPorte was one of the best towns to grow up in. I hope people can keep the memories alive.”

It has been so many years since I lived in Laporte,but pass thru every so often.Still one of my favorite towns.
