Santa was able to use his powers to hold off the raindrops on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2011, as he arrived in LaPorte.
Santa greeted children in his chalet at the historic LaPorte Depot today, and will also be there to hear kids’ wishes on Saturdays, Dec. 3 and 10, from 9 a.m. to noon, and Dec. 17 from 9 to 11 a.m. Also available at the depot is a vintage mini-train on which kids can take a ride.
