1. Pioneerland aglow for Christmas open house

   The rustic and picturesque Pioneerland at the LaPorte County Fairgrounds once again glowed with warm lights and welcoming hosts during its Christmas open house.

   On Dec. 2 and 3, 2011, quilters, blacksmiths, musicians and Santa himself greeted visitors of all ages, who enjoyed refreshments along with the historic ambiance. If you couldn’t make it, let Dennis Proud’s photos take you on a virtual tour.
