1. 5-vehicle crash closes Johnson Road Saturday

   No injuries were reported in a crash that significantly damaged five vehicles on the Johnson Road bridge over the Indiana Toll Road on Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012. The crash was reported shortly after noon and involved two pickup trucks, two passenger vehicles and a sport utility vehicle. The crash was investigated by the LaPorte County Sheriff’s Department, which closed Johnson Road from CR 400 West to CR 500 West while the crash was investigated and wreckers were summoned to remove the vehicles.
