1. LPHS Color Guard takes 1st at circuit contest

   The LaPorte High School Winter Color Guard placed first at the Midwest Color Guard Circuit Contest at Downers Grove South High School on Feb. 19, 2012.

   Complete class results were as follows:

   LaPorte 76.6

   Chesterton 71.8

   Lincoln-Way East 70.5

   Sound InSight 59.4

   The next contest for the LaPorte Winter Guard will be Feb. 26 at Batavia High School in Batavia, IL. LaPorte will perform at 1:48 p.m.
