Tabitha Brinsfield and Austin Davis, both of Osceola, IN, were married Dec. 31, 2011, in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos.

Tabitha is the daughter of Jerry and Marcia Brinsfield of LaPorte. She is a 2004 graduate of LaPorte High School and a 2009 graduate of IU South Bend. Tabitha is a Spanish teacher at LaPorte High School and recently completed a master’s degree in counseling and human services.

Austin is the son of Bob and Donna Davis of San Pierre, IN. He is a 2002 graduate of North Judson-San Pierre High School and a 2006 graduate of Purdue. Austin is employed as a manager for Norfolk Southern Railroad.

Tabitha and Austin celebrated their marriage with close family and friends during a week-long stay in Turks and Caicos. Samantha Mendelowitz, friend of the bride, served as a bridesmaid, while Jordan Davis, brother of the groom, was the best man.

The couple would like to thank their families for their love, support, and assistance in making a dream wedding come true!

Elizabeth Kelley and Brad Koselke were married June 11, 2011, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Indianapolis. Father Dan Donohoo performed the ceremony.

They celebrated at an evening reception at the Indianapolis Public Library.

Beth is the daughter of Mike and Peggy Kelley of Brownsburg, IN. Brad is the son of Robert and Joyce Koselke of LaPorte.

Beth graduated in 2005 from Cathedral High School, Indianapolis, and from Purdue University in 2011 with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree.

Brad is a 2002 graduate of LaPorte High School, and a 2008 graduate of Butler University with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree.

Brad and Beth live in Ann Arbor, MI, where both are pharmacists.

Alexandra Leslie Wood and Benjamin Scott Martinsen of LaPorte are happy to announce their engagement.

Alexandra is the daughter of Tom and Jennifer Wood of Ruidoso, New Mexico. She graduated from LaPorte High School in 2003 and from Indiana University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design. She is employed by HDW Commercial Interiors in Schererville, Indiana.

Benjamin is the son of Janis Martinsen of LaPorte and Dr. Scott and Beverly Martinsen of LaPorte. He graduated from LaPorte High School in 2001 and from Purdue University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. He is employed by Boss Industries Inc. in LaPorte.

The couple is planning a Sept. 22, 2012, wedding in LaPorte.

Jena Jones and Matthew Rejak are happy to announce their engagement.

Jena is the daughter of J. Michael and Virginia Jones of LaPorte. She is a 2005 graduate of LaPorte High School and will be a 2012 graduate of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College. Jena is a Music Therapy major and will begin a six-month internship in Fishers, IN, in January 2012.

Matthew is the son of Karla Rejak and Dennis and Sandy Rejak, also of LaPorte. He is a 2006 graduate of LaPorte High School and is studying Computer Information Technology at Indiana Wesleyan University. He is currently employed as a manager with adidas.

The wedding is set for Saturday, July 14, 2012, at Bethany Lutheran Church in LaPorte.

Stephanie Lyn Koedyker and Lawrence Joseph Mazur II were married July 16, 2011, at the Mazur family home in LaPorte in a beautiful outdoor ceremony.

Stephanie’s parents are Jerry and Lori Koedyker of Highland, IN. Lawrence’s parents are Lawrence J. and Laura Mazur of LaPorte.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Rev. Brad O’Brien performed the ceremony.

Attendants were maid of honor Lindsay Koedyker, sister of the bride, of Crestwood, IL, and matron of honor Kelly Rodriguez, sister of the bride, of Lowell, IN. Bridesmaids were Alison Mittelman of Crete, IL, Nicole Parodi of Hammond, IN, Lauren Mazur (sister of the groom) of Muncie, IN, Lindsey Mazur (sister of the groom) of LaPorte, Julia Houdek of Beaver Dam, WI, and Michelle Rusticus of Dorr, MI. Flower girl was Elena Parodi of Hammond and ring bearer was Ethan Parodi of Hammond.

G. Bradford Oman of LaPorte was best man. Groomsmen were Alex Pappas of LaPorte, L. David Britton of South Bend, Grant Gussman of New Orleans, LA, Kevin Mazur of Long Beach, IN, Frank Fiore of St Louis, MO, Nick Caponigro of Birmingham, MI, and Matt Gilmer of Sterling, VA. Ushers were Joseph Parodi and son Joshua, and Tony Rodriguez and son Alex.

Music for the ceremony was provided by violinist Chase Freeland and cellist Faith Johnson. The processional song was the groom’s original composition recorded on piano.

An outdoor reception was held at Dunes Walk Inn, Chesterton, IN, with music by DJ David Zane.

Stephanie graduated from Illiana Christian High School in 2002, from Trinity Christian College in 2006 with a BA in Exercise Science, and from Belmont University in 2007 with an accelerated BS in Nursing. She is attending University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for an MS in Nursing, and is employed as a registered nurse at University of North Carolina Health Care.

Lawrence graduated from LaPorte High School in 2003, from Indiana University in 2007 with a BA in Economics and a BS in Business, and from Duke University in 2010 with an MA in Economics. He is attending Duke University for a PhD in Economics, and is employed at Duke University as a teaching assistant.

The couple honeymooned in the Hawaiian Islands and are now at home in Durham, NC.

Meghan O’Shea and Corey Goers of Indianapolis are happy to announce their engagement.

Meghan is the daughter of Mike O’Shea and Mary Ellen O’Shea of Arlington Heights, IL. She graduated from Rolling Meadows High School in Arlington Heights in 1999 and Butler University in 2002. Meghan is an ENL teacher at Northview Middle School and coaches girls soccer at North Central High School in Indianapolis. She also travels as a chaperone for the People to People organization during the summer.

Corey is the son of Corey and Rita Goers of LaPorte. He graduated from LaPorte High School in 2001 and the University of Southern Indiana in 2006, where he played baseball all four years. Corey is a personal banker for Chase Bank in Brownsburg, IN.

The couple is planning a Sept. 23, 2011, wedding at the Oak Hill Mansion in Carmel, IN.

Amanda Bishop and Chad Ream of Callahan, FL, will unite in marriage Oct. 1, 2011, in South Bend, IN.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Kevin Bishop of South Bend and the late Patricia Bishop. She is the editor of the Nassau County Record in Callahan, FL. She graduated from Franklin College in Franklin, IN, with a bachelor’s degree in journalism in 2001 and from LaSalle High School in South Bend in 1997. She is the granddaughter of Lora Nadine and the late Floyd Bishop of Osceola, IN, and the late Otho and Betty Kobold.

The groom-elect is the son of Leonard and Dawn Ream of Westville, IN. He is a chef at Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in culinary arts management from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY, in 2005, and from Westville High School in 2001. He is the grandson of Jim and Sheryl Schlagel of Westville and the late Theo and Nola Ream.

The couple will exchange vows at 2:30 p.m. EST at Lydick United Methodist Church, located on the same road the bride-elect lived while growing up. A reception will follow at Landing Catering.

Upon returning to Callahan, the couple will host a celebration for local friends at their home.

Arlyn “Dave” and Sandra McEathron of LaPorte are celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary.

Sandra Cains married Dave McEathron at Agape Christian Church in LaPorte on Sept. 12, 1981. They have resided in LaPorte since that day and have two children: Holly (Austin) Wireman and Aaron McEathron. They also have a 5-month-old granddaughter, Reagan Wireman.

Sandra is the daughter of the late Robert and Nora Cains. Dave is the son of the late Elmer McEathron, and Jane McEathron-Sellenburg of South Bend.

Dave is a truck driver for South Bend Steel Warehouse and Sandra is secretary at Hailmann Elementary School in LaPorte.

   Morgan Mrozinski and Jeremy Mayes are getting married on June 2, 2012, in Rolling Prairie.

   Morgan is the daughter of Vicki Mrozinski and the late Mark Mrozinski. She is a 2008 graduate of New Prairie High School. She will be graduating from the University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne in May 2012 with her BSN nursing degree.

   Jeremy is the son of Jethonia and David Mayes of Avon, Indiana. He is a 2008 graduate of Avon High School. He will be graduating from the University of Saint Francis in May 2012 with a degree in business administration/marketing.
