Police spokesman Matthias Schuster confirmed the incident. The twelve-year-old victim was treated as an outpatient at the hospital after the attack. The attacker was found at home after the incident and has not yet been questioned but is still being called.
Shuster said the two boys fell into each other's hair during a school dispute on the way home, according to the administrator. After class, the older man stabbed the younger man from behind in the street. The Vienna Professional Rescue Service provided emergency medical aid to the victim in the hallway of the school building and took the boy to hospital, where he was released several hours later.
