Manhunt for street robbery in Vienna-Favierton

Two previously unknown criminals robbed a 29-year-old man in Vienna-Favierton on Saturday night. Police are looking for both.

Police officers at the main train station were sent to Quellenstrasse because of an attack.

A 29-year-old man brandished a handgun during a street robbery

There they met a 29-year-old man who said he was about to enter his apartment building when two men approached him. They asked him to open his bag. One of the accused then pulled out a handgun, which caused the 29-year-old to hand over his bag. The robbers eventually escaped in the direction of Abspergass with the victim's money, necklace and watch. The first accused is said to be aged around 20-30 and hails from the south. The second suspect is described as 40-50 years old, of southern origin, wearing a cap and moustache. The South Division of the Vienna State Criminal Police Office is conducting intensive investigations.
