National Council decides on uniform charging cables – Politics –

Tangled cables for electronic devices should end soon

The National Council meets on Wednesday for the first two days of the session. There aren’t really any big decisions on the agenda, meaning the debates will take more space in the context of the EU election campaign. These include, among others, uniform charging cables for mobile phones and other electronic devices, facilitation of commercial deliveries and enhancement of recently decided interest subsidies for housing subsidies from federal states.

After all, there are two “current hours” in the morning program, in which the opposition parties SPÖ and FPÖ present their heartland issues of wealth taxes and EU asylum policy for debate. Then an international guest sat on the floor: Theodoros Roussopoulos, President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. Austrian MEPs will also take part in the subsequent debate. In the afternoon, the EU and its importance for Austria as a business location will also be discussed in an “urgent request”, which NEOS plans to address to Economy Minister Martin Kocher (ÖVP).
