People suffering from chronic diseases may react negatively to weather fluctuations. Generally, at the end of summer, people are less tolerant of high temperatures at the beginning of the year than they are used to the heat, the expert explained.

In general, people who take good care of themselves, get enough sleep, eat healthily and are physically active cope better with weather sensitivity, the medical meteorologist said. Alternating shower or sauna visits can have a positive effect on physical adaptation.
